ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
SUPERVISOR
Assist Accounts Payable
Manager in overseeing the responsibilities of the Accounts
Payable department. Take the lead in going one step further
to ensure that all duties are completed. Lead A/P Clerks by
example by sharing knowledge and expertise. This person
will have six to eight direct reports.
DUTIES
-
Accomplish accounts
payable human resource objectives by orienting, training,
and coaching team members. Adhering to and ensuring team
member adherence to policies and procedures.

Meet accounts payable
operational standards by contributing accounts payable
information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing
production, productivity, quality, and customer-service
standards; resolving problems; identifying system
improvements.
-
Pay invoices by
verifying invoice coding; verifying transactions;
scheduling disbursements; obtaining authorization of
payments according to the Delegation of Authority.

Resolve account
discrepancies by evaluating and approving investigations;
resolving special cases; authorizing stop-payments.

Maintain financial
security by following internal accounting controls.

Assist in coordination
of efforts to resolve issues accurately with staff or
operations.

Coordinate weekly check
runs

Provide Oversight for
Sarbanes Oxley compliance

Identify opportunities
for process improvement and gaining efficiency to increase
productivity of department and assist in their
implementation.

Review Invoice Registers

Check Registers

Resolve more complicated
invoice processing issues encountered by team members

Adhere to Month End
closing schedules

Manage national supplier
accounts and purchasing programs (P Cards, consolidated
bills, etc.)

EDUCATION
-
High School Diploma with
10 years of accounts payable experience (or) Associate’s
Degree with 6 years of accounts payable experience (or)
Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of accounts payable
experience.

Knowledge of Sarbanes
Oxley and its relation to payables.

COMPENSATION ANALYST
Great
opportunity for a professional with 5 years of Compensation
experience and some HR Generalist background.
The
qualified Compensation Analyst will be responsible for
analysis and administering the compensation programs across
all divisions for board of director, executive, salaried and
wage employees. Responsible for market and cost analysis,
benchmarking, surveys and plan design including merit pay,
short term and long term incentives, bonus programs,
executive and board of director pay. Responsible for
additional human resources and benefits activities as
assigned including policy & procedure development, HR cost

participation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare
and analyze market data to determine employee compensation
for all positions.

and report findings for special projects and surveys
seeking specific and/or unique human resources data and

Participate in special projects that relate to the

and maintain a reference and tracking tool for historical

Create
queries and prepare reports from SAP for HR Director and
senior management as needed.
EDUCATION/SKILLS
-
Requires
a minimum of three years compensation experience; as well
as, additional human resources experience preferably in a
chemical, petrochemical or manufacturing industry.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related
field with strong math and analytical skills.

Must
possess strong functional competencies in HR performance
indexes, policy and procedures.

Ability
to manage multiple priorities, produce excellent work
results and follow through on commitments.

Must have
advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office including
Excel and HRIS systems preferably with the SAP HR

COLLECTIONS
Terrific opportunity in the
Galleria area is seeking a Collection Specialist for an
established company. As a collection specialist you will be
responsible for preparing reports on status of credit and
collections.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Run Sales Journal, after
running sales journal you must Age Customer Detail.
- Process all/if any NSF
checks and collect on.
- E-mail Credit Card Orders
with any credit card payments received.
- Responsible for
collections on all outstanding receivable’s, aged 30 days
plus.
- The updating of all
customer accounts with Intranet notes. This includes, but
is not limited to, discussions with customer’s/sales
verbal or written and important payment arrangements.
- Staying on top of
Collection E-mails and assisting AR Specialist with AR
voicemail’s when needed.
- Combining all supporting
documents for Write Off claims and submitting these to
either Credit Manager.
- Generating all collection
documents and submitting these to customers (NSF check
letters, friendly reminders and demand letters)
- Assist Accounts Receivable
when needed.
MUST HAVE
- Ability to read GL
